What are chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan, and phenylephrine? Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine.

Uses of KOFFSET – D Syrup
Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. Phenylephrine is a decongestant. Chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan, and phenylephrine

do not treat a cough that is caused by smoking, asthma, or emphysema. Chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan, and phenylephrine may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan, and phenylephrine

is a combination medicine used to treat cough, runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu.chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan, and phenylephrine will not treat a cough that is caused by smoking, asthma, or emphysema.

Side Effects of KOFFSET – D Syrup
The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, loss of

appetite, and headache. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects.

This medicine can also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.

Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

Pregnancy (CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR)

KOFFSET – D Syrup Sugar-Free may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding (SAFE IF PRESCRIBED)

KOFFSET – D Syrup Sugar-Free is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving (UNSAFE)

KOFFSET – D Syrup Sugar-Free may cause side effects that could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney (SAFE IF PRESCRIBED)

KOFFSET – D Syrup Sugar-Free is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of KOFFSET – D Syrup Sugar-Free may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver (UNSAFE)

KOFFSET – D Syrup Sugar-Free is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE KOFFSET – D Syrup?

If you miss a dose of KOFFSET – D Syrup Sugar-Free, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
